Well my 2001 1.8T QM has decided to be a cry baby and not work so well. My problems are at idle i am getting 1200rpm on start up then when she warms up it will drop and usually stay at 800rpm with an MAF reading of anywhere from 2-5g/s. While making a second gear pass at 6krpm the MAF reading was only around 65g/s really low?. I have no CEL on and the only one i have ever had is ECT sensor which i am replacing at lunch today along with a clean of the throttle body. This morning at -1 celsius she ran okay for a little while but by the time i got to work she was running rough again. The rough running is not a feeling of running rough just sounds off not a loud clunky or even a clunk just noisey. I cleaned the MAF last night with no change in the problem. If anyone has any ideas of anything else i should be taking a look tha would be great.
