Default Running rough, loss of power

Don't know what's happening starts running rough then CEL comes on I also noticed popping, burbling coming from exhaust. Not making power, missing, boost is not entirely thereeither, this is first for me ran great for 97,000 miles. I have to hook it up to Vag comp. but has anyone else experienced this?

Could be a misfire if the CEL is flashing. Get your ecu scanned. There isnt much to discuss until you get the fault codes read.

Get the code scan at Autozone. Then post your codes. Most likely misfire due to coil pack and if you're replacing all the coil packs, replace spark plugs as well.

the easiest way is to sitch it with a diffrent coil from another cylinder and see if the misfire moves. This only works if you have access to a scan tool though. You can ohm it but not sure what the specs are of hand. More than likely it is coil or icm. Cheaper route is try a coil and do a tune if you havent already.

I'm betting that its your coil pack sinces it's only one cylinder misfiring and not your icm. I would replace all of them if you can afford it. Should be $130 for all four at ECS tuning. There are write ups on how to check the icm if you want to make sure it's not the module.
