Yesterday my friend and I get into my car and I turn it on and the entire thing starts to shake and the check engine light is blinking like crazy. So I pop the hood and check things out, appartently one of my vaccum lines ruptured and you could hear air leaking out. I just put a piece of duct tape over the split and drove back to my house where my car is sitting now .

 

That sucks man. Vaccuum lines really can effect the engine, not only making your idle off but they can also make your car run lean. Get it replaced.
