Hey guys, installed my a4 bils/h&rs this past weekend. I am very impressed, i have the car dropped, and i mean dropped. Up front i think im a lil below 24in from the fender to the ground, so its slammed. Its stiff as can be cuz its for a s4, and the ride is somewhat brutal, but it all makes up for it in the twisties, ill post up some pics soon...

 

Nice, I really want to see some pics. Sounds like you slammed that thing. Ive always thought that slammed a4's with the stock wheels look cool. Your car is pretty much what im going to go for with mine, 2.8 tranny/ko4/suspension, etc. I dunno if i'll do the weight reduction you did because i like the interior too much and thats not a huge deal to me. Cant wait to see the pics...have fun.

 

The weight reduction makes a big dif when u do enough of it.


btw- when u use the 2.8 trans with the ko4, i would only use it with crazy torque files like pc-16/j31. The more power u add, the trans will help u more. I have notice it with my expeirence with it. When u running 1/4 3rd gear needs to pull like crazy for good times, especaily if u want high 13s.

 

yeah, thats what ive heard, but i just dont think i could bring myself to rip out the back seats, because i know i would be using them more often than i would need the weight reduction. the minor stuff that i would do for weight reduction wouldnt be noticeable from what ive heard.
