I am putting an S4 front bumper on my 2001 A4 and I was wondering what allI need. Also, are the foglights on my A4 the same as the S4 fogs or do I need to buy a set for an S4?

 

I don't know for sure, but I believe the front ends (except for the bumper) are the same between A4 and S4, so I'd imagine that the standard A4 hardware/brackets/mount points would be the same. And the S4 fogs are different than the A4 - you'd have to get the S4-specific fogs to fit the grille openings. The upside is, I doubt you'll have trouble selling your fogs/bezels/grilles to a pre-99.5 owner (I bought a set for my car), so that'll cover some of your costs at least.

 

They will probably be for sale than in a forum near you. Anyone else know if the stock mounts and brackets will fit for an S4 bumper?

 

yup its straight bolt on. no modification needed. but the a4 fogs are different from the s4 fogs

 

Where did you find the s4 bumper?? I never could come across one.

 

im so glad, when i opened this thread i figured it would be a hey were can i get an s4 bumper for cheap thread, but it's not. im happy

 

if you find the S4 fogs somewhere let me know because i have the bumper... but no fogs

 

just get them from www.shokan.com, im sure they got plenty

 

screw the s4 and the a4 fogs. go to ikea and get some s6 fogs!!! Yaayyy!! ( i like)
