i have a huge rip in my drivers side seat and it is really beatdown (108thousand of *** planted in it) and i want to get a new seat, probally aftermarket nothin great(prob a cheapy off ebay) and im wondering about the airbags in the seat. is the going to be an airbag light on ?.............. anyone who is using an aftermarket seat please give me any info u have/ where u got seat from and bracket

 

yes you will get an airbag light.. do you have heated seats? Power seats? because you will loose all that. Just get it recovered for the the same price as a new seat on Ebay.. Unless you want to get like Recaro or something.. but still reccomend something high quality for the audi this isnt a Daewoo

 

i was thinkin just a plain jane black seat but i dont have 6 hundred to spend on a recaro or sparco

 

remember - if your airbag light is on, NONE of your airbags will deploy in an accident.
You need to find a solution that will fool the car into believe there is an airbag in the seat. Lots of people have done so - search on Audiworld.

 

take the airbag off from your old seat and put it under your new seat. Keep your sunroof open all the time.

When you get in accident, airback will pop up and will take you out of the car with your seat

so your airbag light will be off
and you can go to sky when you got car accident...
