They are nice to have but my gf turns them on to 6 and doesnt turn them off [&:] which pisses me off.
Yeah, same here. An auto off feature would be nice...

I use them...not now, since my car isn't moving at this point, but when it does on Monday, I'll be using them regularly.The previopus owner defenitly used them because the dial is getting slightly worn. [}

But I always used to mess with my friends. Turn it up to 6, then a few mins later

"it's hot in here"

"The heats off"

>*friend looks around*<

"What's that litle 6 mean?"

"The seat warmer"

"You're an as$hole"

I know it's a little messed up, but it was funny. I did it to my pregnant friend while she was in labor. She got mad then but thinks its funny now, and no it didn't break her water.

I leave mine on 1 usually... 2 is alright as well... but 3+ is just unpleasant! haha

All girls love them though. Girls are the reason the adjustment goes to 6.

I use them sparingly. Nice on the cold mornings, but only for a bit. After that they start cooking my boys.

I LOVE THEM. I keep it on 2 allllllllll the time now thats it's cold. I like messing with my passengers (especially in the summertime) and turning their seat warmers up to 6.... hahahahaha by the time it hits, it's too late. It's those little things that make me glad to have an A4.
i do that in my dads car. i love it, but i dont have them. i wish i did but im in so cal so i dont really need them. They feel nice on ur back and *** thou.

Exclamation seat warmer burnt through passenger seat

2001 A4 Avant 1.8 quattro- it burnt right through the vinyl seat/my wife's down coat/ and almost all the way through rayon slacks to put a good sized welt on her bum.
I am currently talking to Audi USA but they have not told (yet) if this has previously been documented.
Does anyone else know anything about this type of malfunction? It almost caused a heck of an accident and only via the A4's handling dynamics was I able to avoid a real problem.........
