Default Self-leveling Headlights?

I have a 2001 A4 2.8 Q with all options. Tonight I pulled into my driveway part way, and sat there to let my wife out, and I noticed that being parked on a 20 degree incline, the light from the bulbs lowered. I am not sure if this year with HID's have self-leveling projectors? Any help please.

I have never noticed. I guess I always thought I did not. Is that something I should look for? Is there something I can look at behind the blub to determine?

I just went out to the garage and turned the lights on and they did not move. I popped the hood and look inside, but I could not tell. The pics from the website look identical to what I have. Is there some sort of hill test I can do? Thanks for the help.
