I received a letter regarding Service Action 96G5 in November of 2021. It involved the “Gateway Module” and indicated the “emergency call function will be inoperative during specific very brief phases” Which actually means a warning indicator screams at you every time you start your car. This happened to me in July of 2021 prior to the Service Action coming out. The dealer said the only way to fix it was to flash the gateway module, which they did to the tune of $262. I called them with the service bulletin, they agreed it was what they did to fix my car, but they said I had to contact Audi to get refunded. I called them and talked to a call center person who took my information and I emailed them a copy of my bill for my repairs. Now, a week later, I get a general email asking for all sorts of non-related information. It’s bullshit and they know it. I am going to go back to the dealer and see if they can help me out one last time. If they can’t or won’t, what would you do?
