Where can i get a "good" price for a Factory Service Manual for my A4
yes i want the actual repair manual for the factory, im not going to buy
any other book like Chiltons or any kind of crap like that, those books
always give you a half *** explination and leave stuff out all the time

 

i don't know about the factory service manual. but Bentley makes really detailed manuals. much better than chilton or haynes. they come as a printed book or on CD-rom.
you can order directly from Bentley's website. sometimes eBay has it too.

 

The CD is the actual factory manual. The book is a little less detailed but is excellent.

 

Word of caution, if you buy the bentley CD from eBay, inquire as to whether it's a copy.

I had contacted two separate sellers -- neither of which was advertising that it wasnt authentic -- and both replied that it was a copy, but would work just fine!

Even if you buy straight from bently, using the CD for the first time is a pain in the ***... you have to call them during their business hours to get some code #... if you format your computer or something, you have to call them again. They are piracy ****'s.
