not really, but its harder than an oil change http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng35.shtml

and did you change the drain plug washer when you changed the oil? cause they are designed to deform once tightened to create a perfect seal, so you gotta change them out everytime.



if you didn't you might have a slow drip leak from the drain plug

if you are lost under a hood then yes, if you got minor skills then not too bad... time consuming either way

yes i did change those plugs and i might change them myself to save some money i myself am a minor under the hood so im ahave help from a few friends that knw more about it thanks for all your help

timing belt is a great diy to get better aquainted with your motor and working on it, i suggest giving it a try with a friend that can steer you in the right direction.

cool thanks for you help,


now i got a problem thow when i first turn the car on, it can be cold warmed up anything, it makes a noise like a spinning noise and i looked and couldnt tell where it was comming from any suggestion to what this might be?

also im almost ready to chip it but im not sure if i should i only have 56k miles on it and the engine and all seems really shaking when i open the hood cant feel it to bad in the car can alittle is there anything i can do to make sure i wont have major problems down the road take it to a audi dealer to have checked maybe? but im sure that will be close to the $1000 range
