i just got my ebay short throw in and just had a couple quick questions cause it came with no instructions. ive read the short throw install directions on audidiy and think i got the idea. my only questions are, all the little peices that are included (a spring, two plastic pieces, and some clips) are they just a replacement for the stock parts? the DIY i was looking at put all stock parts back in the car so im not sure what the extras are for. and also, it seems like theres 3 different heights i can set it at, is there any change made in the shifter depending on which its screwed into, i.e. shorter/ longer throw, shorter taller overall height ect. any help is appriciated because i will probably install this tonight or tommrow.

 

all of that extra **** if for cars with push down reverse, you probably wont even use anything besides the ball, linkage connector, and shifter

 

i have pushdown reverse. is that bad?

 

no it should still work

or the one i used which is on audiworld

 

an eBay ss eliminates pushdawn reverse....which is why I went with stratmosphere....

should be an easy install....gl!
