hey guys i have a b5 audi a4 quattro drive. i went to go adjust my side mirrors and realized that they were not moving. i dont know what happened i know it was working fine till this weekend. it seems like it gets no power. no sound is made when i try to adjust the mirrors. could it be a fuse or is the switch gone bad? any help please

 

First step would be to check the fuse. If you dont know, the fuse pannel is located between the drivers side door and the corner of the dash (gotta open the door to get at it).. There is a pannel that is held on my 3 clips, just pull it off with your hands- you wont break or bend it. There should be a diagrapm on the inside of that cover that says what every fuse relates to (there is on mine but im not sure about earlier years.) If you need a diagram just let us know.

ON some car the fuse list is in the owners manuel. Also check the wires going between the body and the door. They may have broken. If they are ok you most likely need a switch.

 

does anyone have a list of the fuses for a 99 audi a4 (b5) i lost the owners manual and there is no list on the inside of the fuse panel/
