97 A6 quattro - No matter what position the Selector switch is in only the passenger side moves. I know the motor is good for the driver side because when I unlock it with the remote the driver side moves too. (not sure why, but it does....)

Ive tried 3 switches already and always the same result... WTF is going on, I need to get it working to get it registered.

 

I bought a replacement switch from eBay and it moves the opposite mirror from the one that is selected, but both sides work. I'm guessing it wasn't made in Germany and they didn't care too much about getting the wiring right. If you've tried three real Audi switches and they didn't work, I'd have a talk with whoever you bought them from.

 

Both used OEM switches off ebay, plus the one that was in it.

My GF actually has an a6 quattro wagon so I suppose I could test the switches in there...

Anyone know where the "memory mirror control module" is located?
