There is an audi a4 for sale near me that needs some work done (and that's fine, not the question though) since it had been fairly messed up when someone tried to steal it, besides that it is in fairly good shape.

Main work being the ignition needing to be replaced as it just starts without a key now, which I've seen happen on a fair amount of cars that have been... not successfully stolen. Does anyone happen to have a ballpark of how much it would cost me to replace the ignition, have a key cut, etc?

well the keys.. u can get those off ebay, and to get the key cut u need to go to the audi dealer... people have gotten prices from the dealer from like $5 -$80+ i think.

also what kinda a4 is it? year and engine.. so people can tell u wat the price is for the ignition
