Can you upgrade to the K04 turbo on a B5 S4 with a Tiptronic tranny? I've heard "hell no" and "hell yes" and everything in between. I've been searching for quite a while and have an opportunity to get a 2000 S4 with high miles for a great price and would send it in immediately for the rebuild and conversion, but don't want it to destroy the tranny 5,000 miles later...

ahh...geez. trust me, if you search, you will find the answer. it doesnt matter about the k03 or k04, its all about the torque through the tranny....so it depends on how you tune it
