I just picked up a 2006 A4 and was assured by the sales person that the car had satellite radio and no hardware installation is necessary. However, when I push the SAT button the display says NO SAT RADIO. So apparently he lied to me. But none the less, I want satellite in the car. What does it take to get the Sirius hooked up? Thanks.

Your car is already prewired so all you need is a sat radio to plug into the trunk. Activate it and your in business.

 

Don't know if it's like the b6, but I had to move a plug in the passenger kick panel over one spot to activate that cable

 

Its the same way on the newer cars. I almost forgot about that.
