whats your guys opinions on slick 50's engine oil and gas treatments ... i've heard nothin but great things ... just wondering if it would help with the smoke my gas puts out and with a small leak in the oil pan ....

 

Quick answer, wont help with leak and smoke.

 

Slick 50 adds detergents which are supposed to help clean your engine. The verdict is still out whether they work or not. My opinion is definatle dont bother. Neither will help your leak thou. You need either a crappy additive that claims to reduce leakage or a thicker motor oil. Neither of which i would recommend using. Both have the possiblity of harming your engine. Usually there isnt a quick fix in a bottle. Just replace the parts that are causing the leak.
