Small dirt in valve bad??
Ok, I removed the intake manifold the other day and a tiny
amount of dirt (gravel crystals) fell into the cylinder valve.
I tried to vacuum them out and got some but still there is
a little left. I wanted to remove the motor but I don't want
to mess with the timing and the chain so is it ok if there's
a little dirt inside the valve? The valve is one that hits the
piston in the engine head.
I think it is dumb idea to put the bracket of the two sensor
for the vac hose under the maifold. Some german engineer
really sucks because that bracket could be placed somewhere
else that is more accessible! I wouldn't have to take off the
manifold and fuel rail and no dirt would have gotten into my
motor!
I'm planning to relocate the bracket to a different location. Is
that a problem as far as longer hose for some and shorter hose
for others?

Every once and while i take things apart, just so happen i had the coil pack off, and was putting in new plugs that i had destroyed, and i had been doing alot of stuff, with a couple things on the top of the engine, and a small peice fell down. I tried to fire it up to see the cylinder would shoot it back up, all it did was put flames up through, still havent figured that one out.
I was trying to remove the intake manifold so I can
replace the vac hose. Didnt' clean the surface yet
that's why dirt fell in there while I remove the fuel
injector rail off the manifold.
There's not a whole chunk in there, just a few small
crystals of sand. Anyways, thanks for your inputs.
