I just got my old 2.8 engine dropped into my new A4 that already comes with a magnaflow exhaust..mechanic says i will not pass smog, especially cuz i live in Cali, anything I can do? i really dont wanna get rid of the exhaust at all.

 

i just heard the other day that because a4 are all wheel drive they cant put them on a dyno for the smog. That should help out alot in passing ur smog test. another thing i would suggest is test it and if it doesnt pass take it to a shop that works an audi and offer them 200 dollars to make ur car pass smog....This works wonders. I had a 96 mazda 626 that couldnt pass smog then i took it to a shop and offered 200 big ones and 4 hours later i got a call......Ur mazda is ready for pick up smog check, GOOD. well try that.llol.
