i have a 97b51.8tq and its silver with 5% tint in the back and 20% tint in the front and i think my car would look f****ing awsome with some smoked tail lights. And i know that you have to take them off and paint them and then put clear coat on them to make em shine!!! but i dont know what kind of paint to buy is it just black or is it a spiecal black??? or what... i know how to do it i just dont know what to use... help me out! thanks

 

I suggest taking it somewhere and having it done its around 80 bucks for someone to do it.

 

i got some for xmas from my mom... ill try to find the box and get the brand for u. otherwise u can get ur stocks tinted

 

Personally, i say stay away from them. ask flyinb501 if he has some before and after pics of smoked tails compared to the 99.5 + he put on.

 

Just make sure you know what you are doing. I've seen some REALLY bad tinting jobs. It never looks right on a silver car either. Just creating attention from the cops.

i like the amber turn signal on the rear too since my sidemarkers and headlight corners are all amber it flows.
