Snub Replace

figure out what ,an easier way?.best of luck but cut corners can be costly.i think i'll start a new post of how everybody needs to have tha repair book.

when i did mine....I jacked the car up and supported both sides with jackstands. Then I moved my jack under the oil pan....with a flat piece of wood between it and the pan and just supported the engine.....not really jack it up. Just get all of the pressure off of the mount. Then, if you look at the mount, there is a metal piece that stops you from pulling it off. You have to remove it....like three bolts....and some other stuff on the sides. I believe I had to remove the metal pieces going to both side mounts too, but they are easy. Just take off the two nuts and loosen the bolts in the rear. I believe I had to lower the ac compressor, 4 1/2 inch bolts, and remove the ac pulley.....two allen bolts. Then there was like two other bolts up top to remove and the mount along with the metal piece will come down. You have to use a little force to get the new mount up there, but it isn't that hard. I will try and take pics tonight and make a write up.

recieved my apr snub in the mail today, i think im just going to put it on when i do my timing belt, probably be the easiest right?

well did my snub mount today it took me about an hour and a half. not too hard. old mount wasnt in bad shape but still wanted to replace.

Mine took me about the same. It was hard getting it on but aside from that it works well. I was actually expecting it to feel a little better after reading all the hype.
