So, I made an Intake duct....pictures!
so, I have a custom intake setup and all summer I was fine w the fact that the bottom of the intake was succeptable to the elements (without box and bellypan you can see da ground. well, because of recent rain i decided that I had to cover up the hole so that water wouldn't bounce onto the filter....
after putting the alluminum plate in that blocked everything from underneath the filter I completely lost the sound of the turbo spooling and my 710n was extremely quiet....(which I didn't like, because I love the blow-off noise and the turbo spool)
so, this is what I did;
I used a drake cooling duct/a piece of silicone tubing and I chopped part of a leftover intake (from my miata)

I fastened it down by drilling a fer holes around the edges and zip-tied them in place

this is a pretty crappy pic of what the piping looks like installed behind my lower grill

Well, I am happy to say that I am no longer worried about water hitting my cone, and at the same time my blow off and spool are 100x (no joke) more audible than they were!
just wanted to share, take it easy
