Sorry cincy, your right, 5 bar comes with the kit. Ill try putting on the old n75. Do you suggest an adjustable fpr still? If i go with a mbc, tune down the boost, will the lower air temps help with my lean conditions?? Because the car has big misfires, but its also running like crap at 5psi.

i know that running that high isn't good, and a fmic is probably going on this winter early spring........ but why would apr say a mbc is not good? would it help that much? or should i look into the adj fpr? or both all 3? i know the fmic but what about the rest?

and i am thinking i am boostying that high, i am still waiting on my podi pod and guage, right now i have an el chepo guage that seems to be right, -21 at idle
APR's is written for a n75 and most ball&spring mbc will run like crap on any stock turbo. But if you go with a nicer on like my turboXS mbc that has both ball&spring and bleed valve, you can bypass the n75 and run very smooth. With the n75 gone, you can then turn the boost to a reasonable level. I wouldnt run anything over 20-22psi on a ko-whatever. But a mbc and fmic is all you really need.

If your gauge is at 0 when the car is off, you should be fine. I hada cheapo gauge and it died. Found out that i was boost 3 psi more than i thought i was.... oops.

depends on psi, temp outside and ic your using. A smic should probably be about 55-60% efficient on boosting above stock level. So if its 60* out, your iat's are 100*. 70% is good and you can see close to 90% with a high cost core.

see, i have heard, and i am no expert, but running just the n75 is like russian rulete..... running the n75 pluged in(no hoses) and the mbc is alot better......... my car does 0-60 in 6.5ish seconds, before the n75 so it can't have that much power loss can it?

thats just going to dump in more fuel, not lower boost. If you have an old n75 laying around (think that was you), see what it does.

I prefer to not run the n75, its not adjustable and it doesnt hold boost as long. But some chips dont like certain n75s, but you can run a mbc on any tune.

My mbc gave me throtle cut issues the entire time I had it, no matter how it was adjusted, but only at half throtle in 5th gear at speeds above 60mph. I would always get "Exceeded maximum torque limit" fault code and CEL. Now that Im trying to sell the car, I am just running the n75 and dont have to deal with that anymore. This would only be a problem on DBW cars. Other people have experienced it with different mbc's (bleed and ball/spring only), so beware.
