What year if its a b5 then there is a gromet in the center of the firewall that you can go threw. It will drop down behind thecenter of the dash.

You got to go threw the engine bay with the wire or you will not see where its at. Once you push a foot or 2 into the dash you can crawl under the dash and pull it down.

look for black rubber grommets, on the second firewall, behind the battery, pull it away from the metal a little and cram the wire through there for a few feet, then look under the dash with a flash light and look for the wire, and pull it the res of the way through.. then remove kick panels, and pull up sill plates (becareful there is a screw next to the bottom of the back seat with a screw in it) run the wire through there, and tuck it under the carpet.

i have mine ran through the grommit for the hood latch, i had to attatch an old metal antenna to the end of it so i could fish it through.. it was more difficult because its a 0 gauge
