And APR exhaust is 2.5" for the 1.8T... and I've heard it is rather quiet.

 

I don't know what I want yet. I was also looking at the A6 with the 2.7T. Looks like the A6 is much larger though.... thus decreasing the performance. Obviously I would not expect it to be comparable to the S4. I actually like the styling of the A6 better though.... at least on the tail end.

One more question: Is the A6 2.7T the same as the S4's 2.7T? And by that I mean, internals, clutch, ECU, Quattro system, etc. It is hard to find a 6 speed A6 though... but with that much power I might be satisfied with a Triptronic with GIAC tranny chip. I was considering the A6 because I like both the looks and the power potential.

 

AFAIK the newer a6's don't come with a 5 or 6 speed.

Why not an Allroad or Avant.

My experience with the tip is...I defenitely wouldn't buy one.

I perfer the b5 over the b6 and would opt for a 1.8t, in either form.

 

Thank you for your opinion. Some of the A6 2.7T come in the 6 speed manual.... but they are harder to find. There is one on Ebay now with the black on light silver interior... I love it.
