autozone lets you borrow it if you give them a deposit or drivers lic. #. TBA=throtle body alignment/adaptation. Turn your key to ON without starting the engine, let it sit for about 3 minutes and remove key from ignition (cycle ecu power when done).
Also, for tip dbwcars, after the battery/ecu has been disconnected, you can make the tranny relearn shift points by turning the key to ON without starting, and slowly press down the gas pedal all the way to the floor (engage kick down switch) and count to 10 and then slowly let up, then cycle the ecu.

Alright... Ill give you this... Heat is killer for electronics. With a chip, under the hood temps are increased which probably isnt helping anything. But considering many people have been chipped with original coil packs for tens of thousands of miles with no problems(including myself), Id say if a coil pack goes after getting chipped, it was on its last leg anyways.

I'll agree with that, i have had no problems with any of my coil packs since ive been chipped (over a year now), but ive just seen a few threads on here where its happened, and thats the only source of info i have.

Oliver told me it was 1.5 bar...good for 16-17psi...
if you see my post about my revo gauge my vaccum was at 5...because the rubber in my DV was twisted, then i cleaned the DV and fixed the vaccum went down to 20 like it suppost to...
but my boost still sucks...could it be my turbo or the spring in my dv?
Rafa, your Forge 007 has a Piston, there is no rubber to twist in that Forge DV? Unless you were talking about the stock one before you installed the Forge.Take outthe green spring and put in the yellow spring. The green springis probably not strong enough to holdall the boost that the chip is allowing the turbo to make. The yellow spring should work better.
Ihave the opposite dilemma. I put in the Forge007 on Friday, hoping to get the ECU backon Saturday. So nowI have to drive tomorrow with the stock ECU and yellow spring. I moved the car outof the garage, but haven'treally driven it on the road yet. Wonder what it will do...

It wont make a difference. If anything, you might hold boost longer.

Same exact thing happened to me a month or so after my chip, put my Carbonio in the car ran great them boom. CEL blinking, car went into limp mode. Two of my coil packs went bad but I have no idea how long they had been in the car, bought it used. The dealership DOES sell them individually. I just replaced all 4 to be safe. They weren't outrageously expensive, cant remember the price.

There shouldnt be any rubber parts other than an O ring on a Forge valve.
