hey all, new to the forums and to audi. ive been interested in audi for a while now, but i think it's finally time for me to upgrade from my '89 325i.I have a few questions that i need to help me narrow down what model/options i want. Im thinking right now to get the late 90's model, possibly a stick 1.8t.

possible mods are gonna be (in order): drop, rims, exhaust, chip (if needed), intake, tinted tails. im new to this so i dont know much about performance/engine mods, but willing to learn. sadly, my budget is low since im in college and working only part-time.

lastly, when looking at models, are there any specific things that have been known as problems for these cars? (i.e. my bimmer requires me to clean my idle control valve every few months to keep the idle rpm's steady).
