The brake fluid is PArking brake flashing(in a B7). But i thunk i have heard about the (0)

 

Warranty has changed for 07 vehicles, any vehicle 07 or newer, any wear items (brakes, clutches, bulbs) ect are only covered for the first year or 12,000 miles. If your car is an 07 your f****d sorry.

 

I have a 2006??? what does this mean?

 

if they dont cover it, order some hawk HPS pads and some new rotors... your cost wont be $270 for parts,,, slap em on urself

they warrantied mine at 40k... all four rotors and pads... rotors were warped..

 

Yeah i would rather just slap my car keys into the dealers hand and have it all done for FREE. Thanks for the suggestions though do you have any links for these products?

 

whoes charging u 270 for front pads? ur being ripped off. and i don't get how some of u have had ur brakes warrantied, unless it was a warp issue. brakes are like gas, it gets used. but that's just my logic. if ur not sure if ur pads are good, just take a look. if u can't tell with the wheels on then take them off. it'll take like 10 min. and ya i understand bout getting it done for free but i rly doubt it.

 

well my rotors were warped pretty badly... but like you, i didnt think it would be warrantied considering the terrible service ive had at VW and AUDI....

i actually ordered all new brake stuff from ECS but it took two months and i still hadnt got it, i was in for an oil change and talked to them about the rotrors and he said no problem, i told him i would need new pads as well... we had a bit of back and forth but i told him old pads on new rotors wouldnt cut it so he put everything new....

 

They should be covered it if its an 06, tell the service writer to print out the warranty policy and give it to you in writing.
