it seams to only studder and stumble in low rpm's, more so right when I hit the gas, and it dose not do this all the time, its very intermitant, I cleaned the MAF and i also changed the fuel filter (which was really bad) still have the problem.. where is the knock sensor on our cars i read somewhere if its not tight it may not fungtion properly.. any other clues as to what my problem might be..

It could be your maf man... sometimes cleaning it does nothing. Your cat might be dead/clogged too. This sounds sort of shady, but there is an honest way of going about it... try this just to rule the maf out: get a ride to a dealership, test drive an a4 that uses the same maf as yours (same yr/engine code) and take it home and swap maf's and see what happens. Then swap back and return the car. Spending $100+ on a new maf on the off chance that it is the problem is hard to justify for some people just for troubleshooting. of course if it does fix the problem it may be hard for you to swap back your bad one but if you are a remotely honest person you wouldnt do that, and i wouldnt recomend it.
