I've been searching on the forums but I keep getting different answers. So once and for all did my '03 1.8t come with stock 710n DV?

Also, I read that chipping will decrease life of Stock Turbo, is this true or will it be fine if you just let it warm up and cool down?

People with chips, do any of you have that program where you can switch from stock ecu to say 93 octane program using thecruise control? If so, is it worth getting?

2) can be debated, some say yes, some have been running the stock turbo on a chipped ecu for many years
3) i would get it.. its convenient, and it also has a valet mode so when you take it to a shop, or have it parked it wont boost above a few psi
