I have a 2004 A4 Avant FSI and the stop light has gone. It appears that the screw in the side of the rear panel has to be undone. Does this require a magnetic screwdriver or is the screw secure?
Any other help advice would be good.

 

Hey I have found the solution. First of all avoid your Audi Dealer they are robbers, they want £37 plus VAT plus bulb. Is this a money making scam. I think not.
Go instead to you local little independent garage. (If you live in South London try Westmorland Garage great service) ask them if they can help, and hey presto a couple of quid and back on the road in 10 minutes.
Conclussion.
Audi dealerships are rip off merchants.
