surging when at stop light

Default surging when at stop light
2000 audi a4 quatro 1.8T

surges at stop. spiked a code of P1124. no problem on acceleration. Ideas on what might be the problem?

Worked on it this weekend. Ended up being a mass air sensor at the air intake box. Thought you would want to know.
