This really did surprise me...good to know that Audi has the class to offer people a good system without having to spend $$$ on an upgrade straight out of the factory.

Look.....i also have two 10 inch JL W6 V2 with a 1000W/1 JL amp and love it.....because i like good loud music has nothing to do with what car i own or what i want from my car. I love my system & i also love my car, so i dont think subwoofers are for hondas, that is one of the lamest statements anyone could make. I say put those subs in your car & pound away. If you want your subs in your car, i wouldnt have even asked the people of this website. Its what you want, so why should it matter what other people thought of your idea?

when will you guys realize all the cars that push more watts than your own cars bose system or not. for example the camry at 450watt or the chevy silverado, or practically any lexus.
Who cares?? I thought my stock system was okay, and it wasn't even Bose. The fact of the matter is, Audi owners couldn't care less how much power some Toyota can put out, because they are DRIVING A FRICKIN' AUDI!!
some people don't care about audio, and thats fine...but saying that the stock system is good? its not good compared to other stock vehicles. although the factory system might be "good enough" for you, for an audiophile its definately lacking.

I'm honestly lost as to what your point is, I've been trying to figure it out but it eludes me. Are you trying to say that we shouldn't upgrade our system because they are inferior to other cars systems, and weren't you the one who was saying earlier that more watts doesn't equal better system but is now saying oh the Camry's 450Watt system is better then the Bose system in my Audi?

I'm confused so could you please explain your reasoning and what point you are trying to make in a concise and logical statement.
no i'm just saying. my brothers 2005 S4 bose system sounds good, better than the 2003 M3 upgraded system. The bose system is very clear, but the 2007 Camry JBL system is better than my brothers 2005 S4.

I'm not saying the bose system is utterly bad, its actually pretty good, the B5 S4 bose system is pretty bad compared to the B6 S4 bose system. BUT there is room for improvement if you're the type of person that loves music and sound quality. Additional to the B6 bose system is that the B6 is so quiet inside making it sound a lot cleaner.

so i take it back...the B6 bose sounds good, the B5 bose i never liked.
