hey guys i just got my apr chip and a boost gauge installed by grd and my gauge is only reading that im getting around 8 psi but the car does feel alot faster but im not sure if i have a boost leak or is the gauge bad.

 

o and i do have a 710n dv that installed myself

 

is it giving you a CEL?

 

nope no cel at all. Do you guys think maybe its because i have a cheap boost gauge. its a GLOW SHIFT

 

maybe the tiny pipe of the boost gauge bend or something
how about vacuum numbers on idle ?

 

ya your vac #'s at idle will tell you wether or not you have a kink in your boost gauge line. Where do you have the boost gauge line spliced into under the hood?? Front of intake manifold? Hopefully??

 

I have glowshift and it works perfect. its only 8 at WOT?

 

yea only around 8 at wot the vac is around 20. grd installed everything
