I have a 97' A4 2.8 and am looking for any performance parts for it but cant find a turbo or supercharger for it. I checked out PES s/c's but they only make them for 98's and up. Whats the difference between 97's and 98's? Can the PES fit my car? Are there any turbos that I can mod to fit my car? Whith money being no issue what options do I have to get this thing to impress me?

Harsh, but to the point. And you're right, to boot.

The pre-98 2.8L A4's are sort of the mules of the range. As reliable as a wood-burning stove, but, unfortunately, just as fun to mod.

 

you have the 12valve, the 98's got the 30 valve. So you are pretty much SOL unless u got major money to play with. You could prob make it sound good with an exhaust and make the car look good itself but thats pretty much it on a normal budget.

Yea it's pretty much true.

Give it an exhuast, set it up for a semi-stock Auto-X class and have fun with it.

I bought mine for the main reason of reliability and didn't believe there was nothing out there, but now, I want more power but I think I should stick with my good ole 12V.
