i own a 2002 B6 A4 1.8T QUATTRO. i purchased the car with the sports package which consists of the 17inch rims, sports shocks, and slightly stiffer springs... im assuming. my question is do i need to upgrade my shocks to bilsteins or something aftermarket if i want to lower the car? can i keep the audi sport shocks and install lowering springs such as H&R ???

 

You need to upgrade the shocks when the springs are upgraded. The stock shocks will go in about 6 months and you'll end up having to pay for shocks and another install.
