...i thought you were looking to trade for a 1.8T?
me? that's probably a bad idea....i've had fast cars in the past, and it doesn't work out very well...i think i'm better off sticking with my old, reliable 12V......

but i've been thinking more about what i want to do to the suspension...and if i'm gonna be up in canada eventually, i should probably get coilovers....what do you think, spence, can i get away with koni sport springs up there or should i hold out tp get C/Os?

i'd go with the c/os
especially here in london... our infrastructure is less than perfect.
Hell... there's a ROAD here (Western road) in which you may run into trouble... then you include snow... curbs (try getting into Wendy's on Oxford)

but i'd definatly have a good think about it man... if you come down with the 12v... you're stuck with the 12v... where as you can do an even trade in the States.. good luck finding a 1.8T you want here in Canada for a good price (as i found out)

True that, and my dad sold his 12V for 8000 CDN dollars, with 208K on it... a nice 1.8T up here is at least 13, for reasonable mileage.

But yes, if you're seriously comin up here, DEFINATELY hold out for coil overs... my car sometimes hits packed snow in the middle of the road, and i'm on stock sport! with a further drop, i'd have ripped the front end off my car last winter.

when i first got my car i was finding all kinds of used c/os, one-piece headlights, bumpers, etc. for pretty cheap....and i ended up having to spend all my mod fund on tranny/suspension repairs........so now that i'm going to be making real money again (without school in the way), i'm looking, and i can't find CRAP.....[:@][:@][:@]
