So I just got an estimate to fix the seat heater on the drivers side and they wanted $700 to replace the seat wiring grid but they said the power running from the switch to the seat was fine. My question is, would it be possible to switch the drvier and passanger seats (they are not automatic)? It seems like it might work but im wondering if anyone knows if this is possible. It is a 2000 A4.

 

you cannot switch them. you can buy the heater itself from the dealer and diy. just remove the skin on the seat.
