Default Symphony...

I have a 2001 A4, and when i put a CD into the cd player, it periodically has been saying ERR5 or something like that and not playing.. does anyone know how to fix this.. or where to get a new stereo that fits into the symphony space?

Hey man welcome to the forum Imolas4 is our moderator he's a pretty cool cat. he'll welcome you offically in a little bit.

As for the symphony, you could call a dealership and they will tell you for free what that code means. If you want to get rid of your symphony head unit let me know i would probably like to buy it from you.

I have a Symphony myself and had to trade it out for a refurb about 6 months ago. The dealer removed and reinstalled it for free and the refurb cost me $214.00 with tax. Welcome to the forums. Hope you like it here. Check out the archives when you get a chance.

CD errors usually mean it's going on the way OUT. You could try some lense cleaning solution, but usually you have to just replace the unit.
