hopefully monday i will be working out a deal with the local shop here to get some of the Tein SS's for my 98 2.8. I'll let you know if it goes thru, but it will still be a couple weeks yet before I get them on my car. I know Tein has amazing suspension setups, and have ridden in several hondas with tein and absolutely loved the ride.

Dont buy tein anything.

I curse them for the crappy ride and poor build quality. Anything but tein. You can buy better for less. Eibach, HR, Stasis, any are better.

Interesting....

You're the first person that I've ever heard that has anything bad to say about TEIN.
Most people rave about the value for the money.

What exactly went wrong with your experience?

i have heard of a few teins, kw inox, and h&rs leaking within the the first year of use. never heard of bilsteins or konis suffering this issue. vogtland seems to get good reviews.
im currently running konis on the avant. pure ms said these are the most mild of the bunch in ride stiffness over stock. vogtlands are pretty stiff, but more race ready. ran konis on my integra for 5yrs with no issues.
