BS, the interior temp sensor is located inside the a/c control head so the whole unit has to be replaced, what fan is there? It sounds like they tried to cover their tracks for something they or someone else fvcked up. Well glad its fixed none the less.

 

I believe that there is a small fan in the unit which draws cabin air through the small vent and over the temperature sensor.
