Haywire Heater????....

Haywire Heater????....
Okay, just got the car back from the shop (needed a new mass-air) and now I'm having trouble w/ the heater/ac display. The heater works, but it's stuck in a certain position, fan speed, temp, etc. The display is illuminated w/ the red backdrop, but there is no text or numbers or anything. And you can press the buttons for adjustments, but they do nothing. You cannot adjust the temp, the speed, the vent being used, nothing. It's just stuck. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem occur, or if they know anything about it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance....

Did you take it to a main dealer? As if you did I'd take it back and say that this issue has just come about since the car was with the shop and get them to check it out for free.
Possibility of one of the buttons being stuck? Try giving each one a bash in with your finger to make sure it's not stuck. Not much else I can think of..

The buttons work fine, they just make no adjustments. There's no display screens or anything. The closest Audi dealer is over 4 hours away, so I was hoping maybe someone here experienced the problem and it's an easy fix......
Thanx, though....

It a wierd one. I can't see it's just a fuse or something has gone as I wouldn't have thought the display would light up at all, unless it's a separate fuse for the LCD part and it's just some LEDs that light up the display in red.
When I have my ignition on or when I start my car the two screens go red but nothing else comes up. So maybe that part is linked in with the dash lights? Not sure.
