Default Is there anyway to permanently disable the motion sensor inside the car?

So I was going to post this:

My alarm was going off in the parking lot for some reason and after it did the emergency lights would keep flashing. I would go outside and turn off the alarm and reset it. 10 min later another coworker told me my e-lights were going off again. So unlock the doors and check to see if the car would turn on, incase it was the battery, but it turned on just fine. Replaced the battery only a few months ago too.

The only thing I can think off that is different from other days is that it is warm and I rolled down the rear windows a little. Could that cause it to go off?

or could it be something else?

Did a search and found out that the button on the B pillar is there to disable the motion sensor inside the car and it prevents the alarm from going off if the windows are open. I'm forgetful as an 107 year old man without Ginko Biloba and wondered if there is a way to set it so I can keep my windows down and not have to worry about my alarm going off. Reading in a search it seems I have to do it everytime. An on off function would be nice. Any solutions out there?

Edit: 2k1 A4 if it matters.

i think i might have the same problem... haven't heard my alarm go off, but i've been told it is sometimes, but when i get out there all i see is the lights flashing... the windows were open though, maybe it happens b/c of that... either way, hopefully someone has the answer to that...

cheers

it never happens when i'm around, just other ppl

You can decrease the sensitivity of the alarm a lot with a Vag-Com.

Default alarm going off in my car (2003 audi a4 1.8t quattro)

Please help!!!! I do not see any button at the end of passenger seat belt to disable the interior motion sensor. I kind of neglected but today, cops came home and was told that somebody filed a nuisance case on me.
