Ok so on ECS, there are two options, there is the
OE Thermostat- 87C ES#544
Behr, made in Germany

and

OE Thermostat- 71C ES#7015
Wahler (Germany) brand, cooler than the OEM temperture

whats the difference and which one is better?

Same quality, the other one just opens faster keeping the engine cooler. The cold one isn't needed unless you live in Arizona or something.

 

ok sweet thanks! haha i thought the cold one would be for like track racing only, but yeah, i daily drive it in colorado lol so the OEM one is mine now lol.
