Thinking about Purchasing A4..Whats MPG with 18 rims? And mods?
So I am thinking about purchasing a A4 for the winter...
How good is it in Snow? whats the MPG? I would be doing the normal bolt on's..intake exhaust and anything else that is under $400.00

MPG goes down slightly with tires. It kinda depends on what you're going to run. With 235/40/18 Arctic Alpin PA 2's I get about 4 or 5 less MPG on snow coveredhighway (which sounds like a lot) but I was also getting around 30 Hwywith summer tires
And it's not slow at all...it's one of the few cars that will really be able to be driven through nasty conditions (you are getting a Quattro right). Besides if you're going to mod it, you won't hve to worry about it being "slow"

what year are you looking at?
i have a b6 2004 1.8t model, and before my mods, i could get as high as 35 mpg running 60-65 commuting, with apr 1+, i average upper 20's on mpg...... i have 18 rims
and you wont find an intake or exhaust for under $400 lol.... well i guess the carbino or whatever is $379 and gains 0 HP...
exhaust wont do a whole lot either... if u want "some" power look into a stage 1+ chip.....

Do a search, theres some good info already out there,
but I get 32mpg on the highway with the 18's, a chip, knn, exhaust, and DV (Basically Im at the limit of the stock turbo). I get about 20-22mpg in the city with easy driving. Sucks but thats the reality.
