Ticket..
This is in off topic but nobody's responding and i need answers and i figure more people look at the A4 section than Off Topic, although it belongs more in off topic, sorry.
So i got pulled over a while back for doing 82.3mph on a 55 mile an hour road..
It was two days after i had gotten my car and my excuse was that i wasnt used to the big difference in my jeep and my new audi. And that the feeling of speed was way different and that i wasnt used to it yet.-thats just what i told the cop. (lame excuse i know, but i needed to say something)
I called the majesterial court and told them that i live really far from where i got pulled over (which is true) and the lady on the phone gave me the advice... "Take it to court, sometimes they revoke the points but you still pay the fine."
which i am 100% fine with i just can't afford being 17 with 5 points on my license when delivering pizza is my job. I am more than happy to pay the $184 ticket.
So as of now im going to court tomorrow morning at 9:30 on FRIDAY THE ****ING 13TH, with no leverage to get these points taken away... anyone have a clever idea or something to say to help out my case? PLEASE!

yes, dont be moron, kill your speed. i think since you are that young you should get the points and hopefully you'll learn something from it. i cant belive that your 'fine' with paying that much money, $184, wow i wish i had that much just to throw away. what is that anyway, 2 weeks worth of pizza wages?
damn, thats 2 people tonight that are looking for sympathy and getting none from me [:'(]

well, $184 is about 2 nights of work, or about 8 hours.
and i already did learn from it, i love driving i definitly don't want to risk almost losing my license again.
it was a day or two after just having bought my car i was just having a little fun. i don't drive reckless. i've been driving and racing since i was 8 years old. On a normal day i drive just like everyone else. nobody follows speed limits. Someone please just help me figure something out to keep another Audi on the road and in comission!

i'll feel for ya man. i got a careless driving ticket a few months ago, and my insurance just went down so i was scared that it would sky rocket. i took it to a lawyer and he said 100 bucks and he will get the point off, but you still have to pay the fine. i was fine with that. he also said if he didnt get the points off he would give me my money back. since you dont have anymore time to go to a lawyer the only things i suggest are to say:
the thing about it being a new car and it doesnt feel like your going as fast as you were. also say you didnt know the area very well. thats about all i can think of

theres 2 ways to evade points and loosing a licence.....
1. you option to take a driving course/seminar for however many months the judge orders you to, you dont get the point but you have to pay the fine. and the reckless driving goes on your record.
2. you say that your lively-hood and well-being depends upon your driving. you make a living out of driving (pizza delivery), everything would go down hill if you cant drive. people depend on you would be the best way to put it, but since your not going to loose your licence (for now) you cant go with number 2.
and defently dont tell the judge that youve been driving/racing for 8 years becuase you will get the points becuase 1. you should defently know better then to speed around on roads like that and 2. just beucase youve drove before the legal age.
in my opinion you have no chance, unless you opt for the driving seminar.
and yes, everybody breaks the speed limit, but theres a huge difference between just speeding and reckless driving.
I got a ticket when I was in highschool and I opted for this thing called court supervision. Basicaly if you don't get another ticket for x amount of time (6 months?) it doesn't go one your record. But I wasn'tgoing 25+ over the speed limit, I think at 25+ the rules change. This thing might just be for Illinois though.
talk to the prosecutor before you appear before the judge and let him know that you made a mistake and it wont happen again. its called plea bargaining and usually they will let you go with no points but they may increase the fine.
