Alright.. i have a 2000 audi a4 1.8t quattro. I have this engine ticking noise. It is a noise that occurs when the motor gets warm and gets louder as the motor gets warmer. have been told lifter or cam lobe.. so what should i do? just replace them? or am i screwed? and today when i drove it kind of hard the oil pressure light came on. turned off the car immediately. checked oil level, it was good. continued driving with no light. btw i drive this car every day 186 mile round trip. BTW are the cams on the bottom or are the over head? not a mechanic here lol but i do everything myself

2 days ago I put German castrol 0w30 in. Still noisy. Will see in 1-2k.
