Hi guys,
I got some similar problem on my 2006 A4, it's coming from the left side of the dashboard (driver's side and closer to the windshield) even if the climate is ON/OFF. I took out the dash clocks and checked inside but found nothing. It's more like a plastic scratch which appears sometimes when I'm not accelerating and the road surface is a bit bumpy.
It's really annoying sometimes.

 

Check with a dealer cuz something must be rubbing with each other, bad for ur car in the long run
