my front tie rod ends r very squeeky and i look at the recall section and im guessin my car was part of the recall i was thinkin even though it is a 8 year old car can the ends still be on recall like if the previous owner didnt have them changed.

 

It's as easy as calling the dealer and having them run your VIN # to see if there are any open recalls.

 

Tie rods clunk when they are bad due to the metal on metal play w/ the ball joint, etc. Control arms squeek when they go baddue to the bushings getting rotted. So what im trying to say is bad tie rod=clunk, bad control arm (bushings)=squeek.... Normaly.
